This product is simple yet powerful for all students entering Kindergarten that do not yet Vocabulary, do not know the easy reading skills and things names. In a daily routine of reading, tracing, writing, to know the daily routine learning the easy and simple Vocabulary, students will begin to learn letter, animals, vegetables, weather names etc. Until become independent at reading and tracing sentences, the reading of this book and the tracing of each sentences should be guided by the teacher, paraprofessional. All directions are included for how to use this book as Tier 1 core alphabet instruction and how to use it as a Tier 2 intervention for sentences, Naming Fluency, Letter Sound Fluency (LSF) and Picture ID for letter, sound. All directions for assembly are included and the research base for the teaching and learning of the alphabetic principle and what research says about teaching order of sentences, vocabulary. Students should read this book everyday for the first 60 days of school or until students can pass LNF with 90% accuracy or pass a Letter ID Test naming at last 50/55 letters including irregular a, g and y.

Word Family Reading Comprehension Passages Worksheets For kids

These reading passages and supplemental worksheets have been carefully created to help support and develop both fluency and comprehension in young readers. Each of the passages are completely decodable as they only include short vowel CVC words as well as Pre-K and Kindergarten level sight words.

These passages will help to develop fluency as they have students:

- Pre-read the set of words that will be the focus of the text

- Re-read the passage 3 times.

- Identify words with the same rime to highlight word patterns

Furthermore, these passages will also help to develop comprehension too. Comprehension is developed as students draw a picture to match the story and search the text for evidence to complete the sentences.

Each passage includes a supplemental sheet which will have students complete relevant work related to the text.
